THE ORDINANCE

OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS

In order of securing of legitimacy and transparency during the preparing and conducting elections of the President of the Republic of Belarus and in accordance with the part 3 of the article 101 of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus I DECREE:

1. Establish that:

1.1. for taking a decision on registration of a candidate for the President of the Republic of Belarus to the Central Commission on Elections and Conducting Republican Referenda besides the documents specified in the part 4 of the article 68 of the Electoral Code of the Republic of Belarus the candidate for the President of the Republic of Belarus, his close relatives (parents, children, adopters, adoptees, his own brothers and sisters, grandfather and grandmother, grandchild), his (her) wife (husband) and her (his) parents shall submit declarations on incomes and property in accordance with the form approved by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus of April 4, 2001 # 457 “On Approving the Form of Declaration on Incomes and Property”.

1.2. The Central Commission of the Republic of Belarus on Elections and Conducting republican Referenda within 10 days from the date of a candidate for the President of the Republic of Belarus registration hand to the mass media for publication an information on incomes and property of persons indicated in the clause 1.1., in the volume defined by the Commission.

1.3. submission to the Central Commission of the Republic of Belarus on Elections and Conducting of Republican Referenda by the persons indicated in clause 1.1. of information not conforming with reality (if the non conformity by the decision of the Commission has a essential character) on incomes and property entails respectively denial in registration of the candidate of the President of the Republic of Belarus or abolition of the decision on his registration.

1.4. violation by the person being nominated as a candidate for the President of the Republic of Belarus and by his initiative group members or by the candidate for the President of the Republic of Belarus and by his trusted persons of established order of preparation and conducting elections of the President of the Republic of Belarus, including distribution of money, presents, other goods, privileged sale of goods, free of charge or privileged rendering of services exempt distribution of agitation materials specially produced in accordance with the legislation for the election campaign, entails respectively denial in registration of candidate for the President of the Republic of Belarus or abolition of the decision on his registration.

1.5. using by the person being nominated as a candidate for the President of the Republic of Belarus or by the candidate for the President of the Republic of Belarus of money funds or other material assistance in violation of provisions of the part 9 and 10 of the article 48 of the Electoral Code of the Republic of Belarus entails respectively denial in registration of the candidate for the President of the Republic of Belarus or abolition of the decision on his registration/

2. The present Ordinance comes into action since the date of its official publication, is temporary and in accordance with the part 3 of the article 101 of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus shall be presented for consideration of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus.
